I stated earlier that because of writing I've been afflicted with a more potent sense of bad writing. I think I've also found some good writing in movies that is horribly  ruined by terrible movie making. I can just picture the casting director "These eight people want to be in a movie, so we're ready" and a producer or director saying "just say the words, so we can get this done" and of course the editor "Just make sure you have enough fill to stretch this thing out to a movie length"; and of course in anything that sucks, a group of people sitting around a table that has nothing to do with anything making decisions that they have no business making.

Or, I'm overestimating my ability to recognize the good stuff, either way; I'm more picky ... which really sucks.

I really need to learn how to shut it off so I can enjoy a movie even if it sucks.

Well 12 has been a really sticky nickle to get going, but.. I think the wicket has sprung, yay!

A two - three chapter arc that I've been working on has a focusing detail that needs to change. It's something that shows me that when I write something in a few days; that occurs over weeks in the story, there is an obvious lack of consideration (of time) that should be in the story.

Another major bonus of the rewrites after first draft, I'll have a lot more time to consider the choices characters make; which will be more realistic to the timeline of the characters. Still, lacking the tons of dollars and perceived experiences to make the story a  reality; there is an obvious gap between me and the characters. Fortunately the one saving grace is I recognize this; and as such so do the characters and the reality they exist in.
